These Designer Donations Just Dropped on Vinnies Finds
When we say “pre-loved with purpose,” we mean it—and our recent collab with Canterbury League Club proves just how powerful your donations can be. For the month of May, the crew at @canterburyleaguesclub hosted a Vinnies donation drive, encouraging their members and visitors to drop off their best gently used clothing and accessories. And wow—did they deliver. The donations came pouring in, filling our “Bring Your Best” bin with incredible fashion finds that were anything but basic. $16,000 worth of generosity 💙 At the end of the month, we tallied up the value of the donations—and it came to a whopping $16,000 worth of quality pre-loved pieces. Most of those gems have landed on the racks of our Vinnies Bankstown shop, where local thrifters can score unique finds and support our mission at the same time. The money raised from those sales helps fund vital Vinnies services—like food relief, crisis support, help for people experiencing homelessness, and programs for families doing it tough in the cost-of-living crisis. Say hello to our hero pieces 👋 Among the donations were two show-stopping pieces that immediately caught our eye—and our camera lens. These beauties are so good, we’ve given them the spotlight on our Vinnies online store: ✨ A Bally single-breasted leather coat in flawless condition (valued over $8000!)✨ A Jacquemus ‘The Small Soli Basket’ tote, made from hand-woven palm leaf with the signature Jacquemus charm (sells for $850 new) Yep, you read that right. A big shoutout 💫 We want to send a massive thanks to the incredible team at Canterbury League Club for making the donation drive happen—and to every single person who contributed. Whether you donated something designer or simply something you no longer wear, you’ve helped make a real impact.
