Returns


We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, subject to the conditions below, we may offer you store credit or a refund.

Change of Mind - Store Credit


Subject to the Exceptions listed below, if you change your mind about your purchase, then you can return the item in accordance with this section, and we will issue you a VinniesFinds.com.au (VinniesFinds) store credit (valid for 12 months) for the amount you paid for the item.


To be eligible for store credit:

 
1.You must return the item via the Returns portal in its condition of purchase within 30 days of the purchase date.

 
2.If an item is sold “as new with tags”, it must still have the original price tag or label attached.

 
3.You must provide us with a copy of your online invoice or other valid proof of purchase.

 
4.You must pay the return shipping cost, which will be based on the current Australia Post rates.

 
5.You must have a Vinnies Find account.


Processing your return and store credit:

 
1.When we receive your returned item, we may inspect it to ensure that it meets the conditions set out above.

 
2.If the item does not meet the conditions, our customer service team will contact you.

 
3.If the item meets the conditions for return, we will issue you with a store credit to your Vinnies Finds account within 10 working days of receiving your returned item. 


4.Your store credit is for the amount you paid for the returned item only (it does not include any postage costs paid by you).

 
5.Your store credit can only be used on the Vinnies Finds website. It cannot be used in Vinnies retail stores or on other websites.

 
6.Your store credit is available for 12 months after which time it expires and cannot be used.


Exceptions

 
We do not offer change of mind returns for items marked as being “as is” condition.
For personal hygiene reasons, we do not offer change of mind return for items from the following categories unless they are misdescribed or damaged in transit:

 
• Bodysuits

• Swimwear

• Pierced Jewellery

• Hair Accessories and Headwear

• Hosiery, Underwear and Socks


Misdescribed or Damaged Items - Store Credit or Refund


Due to the nature of our items being donated, a substantial portion are in second hand condition. We endeavour to show any distinct imperfections (such as holes or marks) in our item photographs; however, it is safe to assume that most items will have signs of general wear and tear.


Each item is categorised according to its quality or condition, which you can view on the item’s page.

 
If the item you receive is materially different to the description on the website (including damage during shipping), you can apply for a refund or store credit depending on how you purchased the item. If you used store credit to purchase the item, you will receive store credit.

4.Your store credit or refund is for the amount you paid for the returned item (and does not include any postage costs incurred when you purchased the item).

 
5.Your store credit is only available to be used on the Vinnies Finds website It cannot be used in Vinnies retail stores or on other websites.


6.Your store credit is available for 12 months, after which time it expires and cannot be used.


Your Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees


Your return options set out on this page are separate from, and do not affect or limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

 
Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods supplied to consumers are required to comply with certain consumer guarantees.
